Damian Dressick's work has appeared in nearly fifty literary journals including failbetter.com, New Delta Review, Alimentum, McSweeney's Internet Tendency, Vestal Review, Caketrain, Dos Passos Review and Contrary Magazine.

Damian's story "Accrual", which appeared in Issue #55 of Gargoyle Magazine, was nominated for the 34th Pushcart Prize, his second nomination.

Damian teaches writing at Robert Morris University. He has written extensively about Pennsylvania's coal country, including a historical novel and "Home Brew," a short story anthologized in Main Street Rag's Dots on a Map, Stories from Small Town America.

Damian holds an MFA from the University of Pittsburgh and a PhD from the Center for Writers at the University of Southern Mississippi.
